Truro City came back from a one goal deficit to draw with Poole Town in the Southern League Premier Division South at Bolitho Park last night.
The White Tigers suffered on early setback as the visitors went ahead in the second minute through Wes Fogden and will have felt fortunate to go in at half time trailing by a single goal.
After what must have been a robust team talk from boss Paul Wotton at the interval, Truro came out with a much more purposeful approach and were rewarded after ten minutes of the second period as Tyler Harvey made it 1-1.
The hosts could easily have gone on to take all three points – not least as they were denied a clear penalty just two minutes from time – but overall they should be pleased with a resilient display that takes them to the top of the table.
