Argyle are on the way to Wembley after defeating Cheltenham at Home Park in the semi-final of the Papa Johns Trophy.
The two sides were deadlocked at 1-1 after the 90 minutes, with a sublime Ryan Hardie strike cancelling out Cheltenham’s opener.
The tie moved straight to penalties, putting the focus squarely on Argyle ‘keeper Callum Burton. Three saves later, the Pilgrims had won the shoot-out 3-2 to book a place in the April 2nd final at the home of football.
